Ask about your screen. It draws the answer.
Splainer sits at the top of your Windows desktop. Hold Ctrl + Alt, ask about whatever you're looking at, and it explains out loud while circling, pointing and sketching right on top of your apps.
Windows 10 and 11. Free with local AI or your own key. Splainer is running on this page, up at the top. Watch it again
What it does
- Talk instead of typing
- Hold Ctrl + Alt, speak, let go. Double-tap Ctrl when you'd rather type.
- Explains on top of your apps
- Circles the setting you need, points at the error, sketches the diagram, then clears it with Ctrl + Alt + X.
- Short narrated lessons
- Ask how something works and get a step-by-step walkthrough you can replay.
- Gets small jobs done
- Reads files you allow, drafts documents and runs longer tasks in the background while you keep working.

Your screen stays yours
Your conversations are saved on your PC, and your keys are encrypted for your Windows account. Screenshots go only to the AI service you picked for image understanding, and only when you ask. Splainer Cloud counts how much you use, never what you say. Read the privacy policy.
